A mechanic will diagnose the problem. Call out a mobile mechanic which will save you the hassle of having it towed.
Time to sell it, and buy a 2019 Lincoln Navigator!
Most likely a loose cable connection. Check all connections and tighten them up.
There's a trouble shooting system that needs to be used.
If the engine does not turn over then the problem is in the primary starter motor circuit.
If the engine turns over a but does not "fire" it could be the ignition circuit.
If the engine fires then the problem is with fuel.
A common problem of the Ford Flex by the way is a failed fuel pump relay.
Have you checked the trouble codes?
Are you out of gas?
Does the starter turn the engine?
Get it towed.
- I bought a new ford focus sel hatchback with 29 miles, after 3 weeks the battery died and they replaced it with a new one. It died again? Can they trade my car for another one. I'm not gonna keep paying for a car that don't work. It has 300miles now
- I have a 2012 Ford Focus SE (automatic). Can I use Flex Fuel? It doesn't have the 'Flex Fuel logo? I have a 2012 Ford Focus SE (automatic). Can I use Flex Fuel? It doesn't have the 'Flex Fuel" logo?
- Ford 2001 F-150 XLT won't start with new battery? A few days ago I learned my battery was bad so I bought a new one. I installed it and suddenly my truck won't start. I had been able to jump it with the old battery but now it won't even do that. It will crank but will not start. I have checked the inertia switch which was pressed down. I don't have the equipment to check the fuel pump or the pressure in the line. Is there anything else I can check on before I have it towed and pay a bunch of money to a mechanic to look at it?
- New alternator and battery but battery still won't charge in my ford explorer 93? My battery wouldnt charge So i just replaced my alternator a few days ago knowing it would fix the problem. It appears that the alternator was not the problem. I've got a brand new alternor and when i check the battery(running car), it just stays on 12.5V and doesn't go up. I tried using it yesterday and it just drained out on me. I tried 3 good batteries already and checked if they charge in my car but they don't. Oh, the alternator came with a volt regulator.
