What Alloy Size Does My Car Need?

I know nothing about cars, but need new alloy wheels as they are a little banged up, but have no idea what size I need.

I drive a 2009 Ford Fiesta 1.6l Ti Diesel.

Any alloy wheel retailer worth dealing with will be able to tell you what you need.
Beware though as wheels have certain critical dimensions that vary from car to car so even with the correct diameter of wheel it may still not fit the vehicle.
The other dimensions needing to be correct are -
Offset of mounting face from wheel centreline
Number of mounting holes and their pitch circle diameter
Width.

If all this is gobbledegook to you then you need a website or a retail outlet that has the information for your car

  • Aren't you amazed by the capabilities and the size of today's full-size pickup trucks? I drive a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 with a 4.0 liter V6 (~245 ci.) engine. I was looking up the specs for early-mid 1960s F100s (considered full-size), and they have nearly the same GVWR, towing capacity, payload, horsepower, wheelbase, and height as my "compact" truck. In your opinion, do you think today's full-size trucks are amazing or too fancy/over-sized (a traditionalist like me)? P.S.: I like all American vehicles
