Is there a second/back up way to open bonnet on Ford Fiesta Ghia?
The lever in front left foot well area to pop the bonnet isn't working The point at which it usually clicks and opens the bonnet isn't happening; the lever is going beyond that point without popping the hood. It worked fine earlier and I keep trying but it isn't working now. Its like it isn't lined up properly anymore. I need to top up my oil but can't get it open and am going on a long journey tomorrow. Any suggestions or another way to pop the hood?
First thing to try is get someone to push down on the front of the bonnet while you pull the lever. Unless the cable has snapped, that should work.
Once open if that does work make sure you oil the catch as it is binding causing the cable to stretch.
It wasn't closed fully last time (just to point out, that was a mechanic who closed it last earlier today!) but the little thing you pull (don't know the technical term) to lift the bonnet had gone in. Thanks, friend pushing down on bonnet did the trick.
- Why do they treat the second and third gen of mustangs as if they weren't there? What I mean is that ford example when the mustang fan page uploads pictures of mustangs they never upload second or third gen mustangs. Then when ford made a mustang trailer for the 2015 mustang they made a time lapse of how mustang evolved. They put in the 1st and 5th gen. In that one they happened to skip the fourth gen for some reason. And when you go on wikipedia to see how many mustangs they've sold they skip from the first gen to the fourth gen.

- Random question. Ford focus 2005 ways to open boat. So far only way I can open mine if I press the boat button on key? Is their another way e.g. Out key in door car lock turn it certain way? Is their button inside the car. I've looked but havnt found one

When i bought it the back door opens from inside only. But my friend engage the child lock and i'm not able to open it now. I tried and opened the inner panel but it didn't help.
