How to fit a Pioneer FH-P80BT in a pre- face lift Ford Fiesta Mk6 Zetec S?

I'm massively wanting this stereo for my car but it's a bit expensive and I've heard that I need to cut my dash, can anyone please tell me what exactly to do ansnhownto install it, and if I need to buy anything then please can you link me to the page, thank you!

Obviously you don't have the skills or experience to do it yourself without severely butchering your car. However, if you have the year in which this piece can be removed separately from the dash () then get one from an auto recycler and modify it on a bench before you install it in place of the other one.

If you've got the one-piece dash, i wouldn't do it, or I'd hire a professional shop to help you who knows what they're doing. Otherwise you'll be sorry you started the whole project. With the replaceable center console you could at least put it back the way it was and keep the new Pioneer when you go to sell the car.

In either type of dash, the piece that holds the stereo is molded in and has to be cut out, with a proper metal bracket made and installed in its place. You can't simply cut it out and install that Pioneer because there will be nothing to hold it. If you butcher a one-piece dash it will hurt your resale value in a big way, but if you only ruin the replaceable center fascia, no big loss because you can always get another one and it isn't hard to replace. A whole dashboard isn't.

Since the car is already pretty old now, save yourself a ton of aggravation if you've got the one-piece dash and get a different stereo. Anyone who is that obsessed over a specific brand and model of music player isn't right in the head and needs to examine their priorities in life.
