Ford powershift transmission 2016?

I was looking into buying a new 2016 fiesta or focus as I do like the cars options, price and design.

However I've done the research and have seen loads of complaints about the transmission.

I know it's a dual clutch transmission and not a true automatic so some of the complaints stem from misinformed drivers, however I have also seen a fair amount of videos and other complaints stating there are real issues with the transmission. It looks like most of these come from older models and have heard 2015+ models have had the issues resolved.

Anyone have any information on the new 2016 models and how the transmission is compared to the earlier models?

I have a 2012 Focus automatic and yes, the transmission sucks. There's no way to stick it in a particular gear and keep it there. The manual would have been better.
