Car insurance oem parts? Ford Fiesta MK5 1.25 zetex?

I wondered if you could help me. I have a bog standard 1.25 MK5 Fiesta. My insurance arm is about £3000. Ridiculous i know. But i was just wondering. I wanted to put a zetec-s body kit and zetec-s wheels because i want to make a zetec-s replica They're from Ford. (2001) they're genuine OEM parts. Will my insurance go up if i add them onto my car even tho they are genuine OEM parts but from another spec level of a fiesta? If someone could reply as soon as possible that would be great! Thanks guys. I can't use this email. Sorry to be a pain but could you reply to me @ charlie-stevens95@live.com

Yep that's just what insurance providers like a ready made excuse to hike up your premium

The only people who can tell you are your insurance company.
Some will not even consider covering a modified car some will.
I would expect a premium hike and you will actually devalue the car as it is no longer standard,
If you want a zetec then sell yours and buy the zetec it will be cheaper in the long run.

Yes. The added parts not only make your car more attractive to thieves but also more expensive to repair if involved in a claim. There's also statistics to how that sporty-looking cars, even if all show and no go, tend to get driven more aggressively and so get involved in more collisions.

The price hike will be so high that it may prove cheaper to buy a genuine Zetec-S model.
