2015 Honda Fit or Ford Fiesta?

I'm trading in my gas guzzling Dodge Avenger soon. I know for sure I want a tiny hatchback. I would have considered a Mini Cooper but I just can't spend that much money on a car maintenace wise. It has to be a manual transmission and have a sunroof. Both are a must! Which do you think is best? It will have to last a while so reliability is a must.

Ford Fiesta. This is great small car to drive, with excellent build quality and plenty of connectivity features. It represents a balance of economy and comfort, function and form.

They are both very similar but which one would be better and why! And is it possible to get any of those cars with automatic transmission instead of manual transmission?
