Will I require surgery for this injury?
I was involved in a severe accident on 4/14/2018. I was rear ended when at a stop by a Dodge Dakota and pushed into on coming traffic and front ended by a Ford F150. I sustained a few injuries as well as my brother. I had a follow up with my doctor and he found and I quote what he said " A minimally displaced fracture of the left thumb near the carpometacarpal joint. No other fractures are seen and joint spaces are normal." I have another appointment set up with an Orthopedic but am wondering if I will have to under go surgery. I read articles of people with the same injury who had to under go surgery. Please help me if you have any type of information.

It seems as if your doctor thinks there's going to need to be additional treatment as they refereed you to a specialist. However, it is the specialist who needs to look at your specific case to determine what action is required. This additional treatment may or may not involve surgery.
Honestly, if the worst injury that comes out of this is a minimal fracture of your thumb you are very lucky.
Discuss with your doctor. The thumb probably won't need any sort of surgery, they'll set it and immobilize it.
Probably not if it's minimally displaced, but you won't know for certain until you see the orthopedist. Why not simply wait until then? Keep in mind that no one can diagnose you or predict your possible treatment over the internet.

- Installing ac compressor, does it require replacing the dryer too? I removed ac compressor from 2000 ford mustang. Going to replace with new one and take it to jiffy lube for the recharge etc… Do i also need to replace the dryer as well? ALSO, when do i vacuum the system before or after installation?

But I don't want to invest if I won't have the time to keep it in top working condition. How much maintenance work/costs does it roughly require to keep cars like a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro or 1967 Ford Mustang in good working order?
- Does replacing the timing cover gasket on a 2014 ford focus require removing the motor? My car is leaking oil at the timing cover gasket, can the dealership perform this repair with the motor installed or does it have to be removed?
