Why would my truck be using gas so quickly?
I have a 2010 Ford F-150 that is a company vehicle. Today after driving roughly 20 miles to get parts it dropped from 122 Miles to empty to 32 Miles to empty. None of it was highway miles driven. The check engine light is not on, nor do I see anywhere it was leaking. What could be some causes?
Maybe the way you drive.
Sounds daft but have you changed the Distance to Empty from Kilometers to Miles as that would be
122 Kilo = 74.56 Miles - 20 Miles = 54.56
Or the other option (You do not say what your fuel gauge says)?
Does it have twin fuel tanks if so has you unknowingly switched tanks

- I was getting gas in my 94 ford ranger EXTCAB and gas was pouring out under truck? How do I see if its the fuel neck? I used a tiny auto camera to stick all the way down the gas neck and didn't see any holes
- How to accelerate quickly in a 2012 Ford Mustang V6 manual? How do I accelerate quickly from a standstill? I need to know step-by-step from stopping to 6th gear. What do I need to do with the clutch and gas pedal?
- How can I quickly raise $7500? I'm 14 and car shopping because I want to have a car to use when I get my permit, and I want to be used to the car by the time I get my license. There's a used 2005 Ford Mustang for sale (which is essentially my dream car) near me, but the price is set at $7500, and the car is perfect for me, but I don't know how long it will be on the market for, and my parents definitely won't pay for it. So does anyone know any quick ways to earn money (legally of course)?
- I use regular gasoline for my 2010 Ford F-150 would it be bad to start using a mid grade or premium? I have about 42000 miles on it I've always used regular it has never been a problem. But if I upgrade to mid grade or premium would it be better for my engine or should I stick with regular? I want my truck to last a long time
