Which truck is best to you of these 5?

Ford f150
Chevy silverado
Gmc sierra
Toyota tundra

Toyota Tacoma

All full size and one midsize

I will be buying a new or close to newer truck in the next few months and wanted real world opinions on these trucks.

Important are reliability, gas milage and safety/ quality

I know gas milage won't be like cars but at least want to get 16 mpg or more

Reliability as in Won't break down or have many problems with regular routine maintenance and taken care of and will last me many years

And safety for my kids and family

So with these factors, what one is best to you and why?

And I'll be towing as much as a pop up trailer or small trailer and need a bed for firewood and moving furniture from time to time things like that

Get a Tacoma with the towing package. Toyota reliability is tops. The Chevy/GMC Full size is also a very good product, (forget their midsize trucks) and I like the looks of the newer ones more than my Toyota. Had a '92 GMC 1/2 T and put 200,000 miles on it, with the only problem being the transmission wasn't up to my abuse. I'm sure they're better by now.

The Ford F-150 is the best selling vehicle (includes cars AND trucks) in the world, for a lot of good reasons.

I would say a Tacoma or a Tundra. The Tacoma might be a little small for hauling furniture but compared to the other options it has significantly better gas mileage.
