What size tires do I put on my F-150 with a 3 lift?
2006 Ford F150 Lariat 2WD, 5.4 L V8 Triton
I'm a girl getting a lift for pure appearance. I do not care about off road performance, I just want my truck to look good in the cheapest way possible.
At least you're admitting you're a poseur, that's more than most people are willing to do. With a 3 inch lift, you can probably fit 35's without too much issue. The increase in tire size will have an adverse effect on your effective axle ratio, and to get it back to stock, you're going to want gear with 4.10's, that will cost around $300-$400 for the parts and labor, but it's optional so long as you don't mind getting beat by a school bus in a drag race.
- Can 225/70R16 tires fit on rims that have 225/70r14 tires on them? I have 225/70r14 tires on my Ford ranger. I just got some 225/70r16 tires of the same brand, Cooper, given to me. Will they fit on the 225/70r14 rims or do I need to get rims to fit the 225/70r16.
- Will a set of 235/60-R17 tires fit a vehicle with 225/50-R17 tires currently? If they do I'm assuming there would be a MPH difference on the speedometer. Update: The 60 series set is from a 2014 Ford Focus and are stud-less winter tires. They are to go on a 2012 Ford Fusion.
- How much should I spend on a lift kit body lift and mud wheels and tires? I want to go mudding how high should I lifted it and what would I need also how much would it all be 2006 ford f150 xlt
- How much would a 4 inch suspension lift and a 1 inch body lift cost? I'm getting a 1999 ford f150 xlt 4.6L v8 triton and I want to lift it 4 inches suspension, and maybe an inch or so body. I don't have the time, nor mechanical skill to do it myself, so please don't mention a self install. How much would the kit cost, plus install and everything else I would need to make the vehicle reliable for a daily driver?
