What is better Chevy 1500 or Ford F-150?
Both are 2006 model years.
Added (1). I bought the Ford, it's a F-150 Lariat, Crew cab, 5.4L, my dad owns a 5.4L and he never had any problems with it besides spark plugs breaking when replacing them.
F150
Too little info to go on. Engine size, mileage, general condition are all factors.
Better FOR WHAT? If you want to compare vehicles, you need to establish the standards you are going to compare.
I'm a Ford man, so there's my answer, but, really, either your do…
I don't know
Lately Chevy is winning all the awards but I'm not sure if they were better back then. I think they trucks are actually very similar. It would have to come down to the individual truck and how it was taken care of and what repairs it needs.
If the F150 has the 5.4 Triton engine, take a pass because they were troublesome engines. If it has a 4.6 engine, then it might be ok. Engines used in those Chevy trucks were good but you can expect a lot of nickel and time repairs since it's an old GM vehicle.
Ford f-150
I would have to say the Chevy. Just a personal favorite of mine.

- 2018 Ford F-150, 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 or 2018 Ram 1500? I'm looking to buy a new truck. Grew up in a Chevy family and have only owned a Chevy. Traded it in last year to buy something more fuel efficient since i was living in San Antonio. Now that i'm in a smaller town i wanna buy another but i'm undecided. I love Chevy but i wouldnt mind buying a F-150 or Ram if i know they are reliable enough to last me 6-7 years. Give me yalls thoughts and opinions.
