I think a no crank and obviously no start condition on your truck.It may have something to do with 1 the ECM and 2 it may also be the ignition module. I have to ask 1 the battery is good 2 the fusible links are good A fusible link can and will cause this issue so check all fuses and links BEFORE you go checking anything else also corrosion on the module elec contacts can cause this too

  • 97 FORD RANGER WILL CRANK BUT WILL NOT START? PLACED NEW MOTOR IN AFTER OLD MOTOR BROKE A TIMING BELT. HAVE BASICALLY REPLACE EVERYTHING, COMPUTER CAM SHAFT SENSOR COILS FUEL INJECTORS. CRAZY THING ABOUT IT, IT WILL START WITH A 6CYL COMPUTER IN IT TILL THE FUEL RUNS OUT OF THE LINE BUT REPLACE IT WITH THE CORRECT ONE AND NOTHING BUT BACKFIRING IF YOU EVEN GET THAT. REPLACED WIRING HARNESS ALSO. ANY Help WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
