Is this considered a hit and run?
Today i went to court with my Boyfriend And out of nowhere a cop was behind me with his lights on and there was a car infront me me driving very slow so i looked at my left mirror and no one was seen (maybe i didn't look all the way beside me) so I moved over to my left lane thinking the cop was stopping me and a ford truck F-150 was righ there beside me! Well kind of but i didn't hear our cars hitting at all i didn't have my radio on And my boyfriend didn't feel a hit or nothing but all we heared was the tires of the ford like braking hard. So i kept driving and the cop seen but didn't stop at all the ford ended like on the side road i'm guessing a little on the grass not much. Thing is we didn't feel a bump or hit or anything. Few miles down we stopped and notices nothing wrong with our car it still looked the same and just had the same white pain chip *** usual so we kept driving. I'm really worried there was no damage the fors kept driving and exited off the freeway minutes after! Can anyone help me on this please
This is all a little puzzling
youre talking about a collision you didn't feel, there's no evidence of and noone has alerted you to
so, how do you know any contact occurred?
anyway, youre either trying out your excuse because youre lying - well, it isn't making for a compelling story
or
youre a little insane
anyway
if someone calls or visits
deal with it then
if anything from what youve said, a ticket for inattention or reckless driving may be coming your way if you did indeed run someone off the road
- I have a 2001 Ford Taurus and I hit a rock, I need to know how to fix it? I have a 2001 Ford Taurus and I hit a rock that was under the snow, as I kept driving my steering wheel only controlled the drivers front wheel, the passenger wheel rode free, now when I start the car and put it in drive my car only shakes like a dryer, I need to know what's wrong, anything will help, thanks
- If a car causes another car to swerve and spin-out, is it considered hit-and-run if they leave the scene? On the way to work this morning, I saw a Ford truck cut off a smaller car and the poor car spun out in the rain and ended up facing the opposite direction. This caused the traffic to stop because it looked like the vehicle wouldn't start. The ford truck most likely knew he did that but kept going, instead of stopping. He didn't hit the car or any cars at all during the time. If he didn't actually hit anything, is it still considered hit and run? Should he have stopped?
- I was driving and hit a pothole really hard, as soon as I hit it it sounded like glass shattered all over my car? There's no shattered glass anywhere that I can see and when I drive now I can hear something rattling around like a whole bunch of Little Rock's what could it be? I have Ford Focus
- I was the victim of a hit and run, is she liable? I was the victim of a hit and run. It was a head on collision, me driving a ford focus she driving and F-150. I got a good look at her and when she drove past I saw a company logo on the side of the truck, so there's a positive identification on the person who hit me. Is she liable to pay damages if she does not have insurance? Would her company be liable in any way at all?
