I have a 1997 Ford F-150, looking to put in HID headlights?
I have a 1997 Ford F-150. I'm wanting to put HID headlights in it but I have no idea in what all I need, please help!
Technically any change in headlights or exhaust from factory specifications is not legal. However, it can be done if the change is to DOT approved lights.
Whatever kit you are looking at, read the small print carefully, chances are somewhere on the packaging it will say "For off road use only" or something similar, which means it is not approved.
