Most common cause of gas in the oil is worn piston rings. Since it is over 25 year old, you don't mention the mileage, it probably needs a rebuild.

Leaky injector(s)

Hi simple the engine is so worn the fuel is getting into the sump via the pistons and piston rings so it needs an engine overhaul

H-m-m-m. '87? Doesn't that have a mechanical fuel pump? Diaphram inside the pump leaks gas into the block where it bolts up. Swap out the pump.
