How to remove a fuel relief schrader valve on a 1991 ford f150 fuel rail?
The top part of the valve broke off when I took it off with a wrench. I put a bolt extractor in and it hasn't worked yet. I just need to unscrew the rest of the schrader valve out of the rail. I think it broke off one time and someone did the easy thing and glued it in
Goto the u-pull-it yard and get another. Take your old one with.
THATS CHEAP AND FAST
IT SCREWS IN JUST LIKE ONE IN A VALVE STEM FOR A TIRE. IF YOU DAMAGED THE FUEL RAIL, THAT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.
No because the schrader valve went sideways it wasn't going to come out normally and now it leaks the core is not where it was leaking at
There's a proper tool for removing the valve stem. If you used it, it would not have broken off. You might be lucky and be able to use it to remove the rest. Otherwise, you are SOL.
- Would a faulty water pump, on a 04 Ford Freestar, cause the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor to go bad? There's definite spray pattern on the underside of the hood from the water pump going. Could antifreeze have gotten into the fuel rail sensor and caused it to fault? Is it possible to clean the Fuel Rail Pressure sensor or any corrosion? Part is EXPENSIVE.
- What happens if I remove the cone within the intake hose of my 1991 2.3L Ford Tempo GL? It has a HSC engine. Does the cone create a swirl in the air which the High Swirl Combustion engine needs? Or is it a silencer that I can remove to gain HP and fuel economy? I know these were lemons but it has no rust, was always garaged and has 130K KILOMETERS on it. See my sketch of it below… Thanks for your help.
- Is there a difference between police interceptor and train.which is on rail years? I know Ford can release a 2016 police interceptor in 2015, but is there a difference between that and trains? a) yes b) no When you answer, can you give me an explanation?
