? Of course you'd change it.

New fluid is better than old. If you think it will act funny add some lucas transmission additive that will bring the viscosity up to match your old fluid.

Roll the dice. I've known people with no issues, change the fluid and then have issues.
It's up to you.

Compromise. Go to a quick-oil-change place & have them suck MOST of the old goo out the dipstick tube. There will be some left inside the torque converter when the pan is empty…

Drop the pan and change the ATF filter and put new ATF in it.DON'T flush it. If it's slipping you're too late

Transmssion fluid change is part of some service schedules. Never too late. There are technical reason to do this and a filter change and fluid change out to be carrie out at same time. There's a possibility though rare that we may trigger issues where we have existing border line issue but unaware e.g. Brake bands about to fail etc.
overall the concept of servicing works well to prolong life of things .whole reason fluid changes and filts are carrie out and stuff provided to do so.

Hi so if you are going to mix some STP gearbox oil with it as this will reduce the gearbox noise. As being like treacle to makes it sound less noisy.
