Buying a new truck- steps to getting it lifted?
I'm looking to buy a new truck here soon. I'm planning on getting a lift kit on it, new tires, new exhaust, and some fog lights.
I'm unsure about how to go about doing this? There are so many websites offering parts. I'm interested in a Ford f150 SVT Raptor.
Am I supposed to order the parts through the dealership and they install all of it?
Or should I go like an Auto Parts store have them send the parts to an auto body shop and then call the auto body shop and let them know that I'm having stuff shipped to be put on the truck? If anyone has any experience on how to go about doing this I would really appreciate the help.
Find yourself a good custom shop or a mechanic shop, with a good reputation, and also talk to the dealer. Tell them what you want done. They will tell you if they want you to get the parts or let them do it.
