2000 Ford F150 stock intake mods?
I Have a 2000 Ford F150 its theV8 5.4L triton engine and it currently has the stock air intake on it. I just bought a k&n oem replacement filter for the higher air flow than the paper filter. Is there any mods i can make to the stock intake to improve air flow and just gain a few ponies or anything at all. I don't have $300 to spend on a aftermarket kit just yet. Any pointers would be very helpful guys.
This works well, maybe better than aftermarket
- What are some tastefull mods I can buy for my 2006 ford mustang? I was wondering what are some mods I can add to my mustang gt its all stock except exhaust. It's my first car and don't want to go all crazy just want to do little things like a cold air intake plus tune but wanted to see what is recommended for my 2006 ford mustang gt 4.6 v8?
- Ford Crown Victoria Mods? What are some easy and preferably cheap mods to do on the Crown Victoria's 4.6L V8. Also I was wondering if its unreasonable to expect 300 HP after a few of these mods. Not looking for visual mods here just performance.
- Do i need to register my mods if they are stock from other cars of the same make? I just asked this same question for alloys and the answer seems to be that there's no need to register for alloys on a ford fiesta even if they are not stock to that car, so it got me thinking, is it therefore the same for all mods? E.g. If i got an exhaust from an other ford or ford racing seats, will i have to register them?
