1997 ford f150 4.6 engine rattle. Automatic 2wd?

Have a f150 has a rattle under load or accelerating only does it when moving will not do it when rev it up setting still. Have changed the plugs and it still is doing it anyone else have this problem and know what it i?

Get your next gas fill-up at a different station - Could be a load of weak gas. The 4.6 in my '02 Grand Marquis does NOT like BP gas for some reason.

  • Gas gauge issues 2001 ford ranger 2wd manual 3.0 engine. 12 gallon gas tank? The gas gauge fluctuates between 3/8 and 7/8 somewhat correlating to the amount of gas in my tank but it isn't accurate. What can i do to try and fix this problem? So i own a 1985 ford f150 stepside and i freakin love this thing its my first truck bought it myself and frankly the stepside is just sexy. But she's a piece of work! Which is fine. But i was wondering if anyone on here could throw me a price range on making it 4wd, i already need to replace transmission shocks and the rear axel and brakes so yeah! I know its possible and difficult and that a new truck would be more wise but i just wanna know a price range! Any help?
