I have no idea. Maybe your local Ford dealer might be able to help. Just maybe.

New, used, rebuilt alternator? Alternator could cost around $120, give or take about $100, and that not installed. Do you have a phone? Call your dealer, auto parts store, local junk yard and find out. Would be a lot quicker than asking here on YA for something we don't know or care the price of.

About 80-85 dollars online

Parts? Labor 150 dollars. Diagnosis 100 unless you just say replace it

  • I'm having trouble finding an upgraded alternator for my 2006 Ford taurus? I have a 2006 Ford Taurus with a banging audio system. The system pulls over 2500 watts rms. I quickly ran into a problem of my alternator not running at a high enough amperage. Where can I find an upgraded alternator that s fits this car?
  • Should I get a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT or 2006 Chevy Silverado Z71? Which truck would be better… I need a tough truck to haul around kids (both are 4-door), a little off-road driving around the farm and fishing, pulling a 4k to 5k trailer. Which engine is better, Fords 5.4L or Chevys 5.3L? Is one transmission better than the other? Which will give me the least or most problems? All pros and cons appreciated, thank you!
  • New alternator and battery but battery still won't charge in my ford explorer 93? My battery wouldnt charge So i just replaced my alternator a few days ago knowing it would fix the problem. It appears that the alternator was not the problem. I've got a brand new alternor and when i check the battery(running car), it just stays on 12.5V and doesn't go up. I tried using it yesterday and it just drained out on me. I tried 3 good batteries already and checked if they charge in my car but they don't. Oh, the alternator came with a volt regulator.
  • Hot air won't turn off in rear of 2006 Ford Explorer? No matter what I do if the engine is running hot air blows at full force out of the overhead vents in the car. It's miserable for my kids. I closed the vents and tried pushing the off button but it still blows. I turned on the AC but that did nothing. I tried changing temp with the dual setting but it also did nothing. Help please, also I do have a warranty that covers the air conditioning, do you think this will be covered?
