What suspension lift kit and body lift kit would I need for an 05 ford explorer?
What suspension lift kit and body lift kitwould I need for an 05 ford explorer? Is there a specific one or will others work? I was looking to get a 3 inch suspension along with a 3 inch body lift. Can someone help?
You'll need one designed specifically for that vehicle. There could be a couple of different makers & they might approach it differently using different pieces. So, suggest you find a shop that specializes lifting 4x4's & see what they say.
- Would a long travel suspension kit built for a Ford Ranger Edge/Sport also fit on a Ranger XLT? I found a long travel suspension kit made for a 2002 ranger edge/sport but I have a XLT same year. Would it still fit on and function the same?
- I have a 2000 ford xlt ranger with a 4.0 v6 and a lift kit will it do good on steep mountain roads? Roads like the white mountains in arizona if any bodys been there and the a/c affects it please post anything that will help Thank you.
- How much is a 2000 ford ranger with 170,000 miles and 3 inch body lift worth? It is a stepside, extended cab. It has a few probs… Window on drivers side doesn't work… Electric windows… And the tires are kinda bald… It also has a slight oil leak somewhere… It always leaves little dots of oil when it is parked. It does burn any oil at all though. What would it be worth you think?
