I have a 2000 ford xlt ranger with a 4.0 v6 and a lift kit will it do good on steep mountain roads?
Roads like the white mountains in arizona if any bodys been there
and the a/c affects it please post anything that will help Thank you.
The AZ white mountains are not big or steep at all. I have been all over them in my 2 wheel drive S10 blazer.
You will have no problems at all.
But there are no gas stations, so just be sure you have a full tank of gas if you plan to stay a while and camp.
Your problem on hills won't be your power but your ability to stop on a hill smaller trucks have smaller brake packages i've found that out the hard way pay attension you should be scared before your truck
- Would a long travel suspension kit built for a Ford Ranger Edge/Sport also fit on a Ranger XLT? I found a long travel suspension kit made for a 2002 ranger edge/sport but I have a XLT same year. Would it still fit on and function the same?
- Rattling noise coming from passenger side possibly engine when going up steep hills, for ranger? I ave a 2007 ford ranger and recently when going up hills there has been a rattling noise that seems to come from the passenger side towards the engine or front of the truck. What could cause this? I also recently had an oil change, and they put 5w30 in instead of the recommended 5w20, could any of this be a cause?
- How much is a 2000 ford ranger with 170,000 miles and 3 inch body lift worth? It is a stepside, extended cab. It has a few probs… Window on drivers side doesn't work… Electric windows… And the tires are kinda bald… It also has a slight oil leak somewhere… It always leaves little dots of oil when it is parked. It does burn any oil at all though. What would it be worth you think?
- Lift kit for 2001 Ford Sport Trac? I know nothing about lift kits but I'm trying to find one for my 2001 Ford Sport Trac. Anyone know where I can get one or what type I should look for?
