What is the biggest tire size you can safely put under a 1997 Ford Explorer xlt on stock suspension?
You need a tire shop with the equipment to put them on and he will refuse to mount anything other than sizes specified for the vehicle. If you want the largest of those, then that's what you get. So go ask. Pointless asking here. You need to find a four for the price of three sale anyway. Just forget brand because they all have the same warranty that pays you for any miles you don't get.
- What tire size can I put on my Ford Ranger? I've got a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd 3.0 v6 and as far as I know it's all stock. Currently it has 225/70r16 fuzion tires on the rear and some 225/60/r16 tires on the front. I want to put new all terrain tires on it and wanted to go bigger so I was thinking like 235/75r16 or something like that so would they fit or what is a bigger tire I can put on without making any other mods to the truck? Also I would be getting all terrains too. Any help is appreciated
- What size rims can I put to replace my stock rims? I have a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge. Looking to replace the rims, but don't know much about trucks and rims. My tires are p235/70r16.
- Can I fit 31 inch tires on a stock 1998 ford ranger XLT 2wd? I have a stock 1998 ford ranger XLT 2wd at stock hight and currently have have the tire size 225/70R14. I wanted to put 31x10.50R15LT on it. (31 inch tires). Would I have to lift my truck to put that on there or can I ride 31s stock.
- Can a ford ranger safely sustain speeds of 85-90 mph without any problems at all? I'm looking for a pickup truck that can haul stuff and is good for driving off roaming occasionally but I also what a pickup that has good performance as well. My question is can a 2007 ford ranger XLT 4.0 v6 5 speed manual sustain speeds of 85-90 mph or is that pushing the limits of this truck?
