Is the 2002 ford explorer, all wheel drive?
You can order both a part time or full time 4wd
The 2002 Ford Explorer is a great SUV with a bad rep.
Here are some specs on the vehicle
Engine: 4.0 L V6 cylinder
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
Transmission: 5 speed Automatic
Horsepower: 210 hp @ 5250 rpm
Fuel Economy: 14-19 mpg.
At my work the Explorer is rated about 3.5/5.
The base model is 2WD. However there was certainly a 4WD option. So it depends on the specific trim level of Explorer.
- How to use All Wheel Drive feature for my 2006 ford taurus? There are 2 Drive option on my 2006 ford Taurus: the first is marked as a bold D the other a shaded D. My owners manuel doesn't say which is for AWD. Does anyone know?!
- Will an all wheel drive wheel bearing fit a rear wheel drive wheel bearing? The front passenger wheel bearing is bent on my 96 ford explorer but someone with a 97 ford explorer sold me one will it still fit an work? Ours is a rear wheel drive the other car is an all wheel drive please give info I don't know much about cars
- Should the revised 2016 Ford Explorer ditch front-wheel drive for rear-wheel drive? Which midsize, non-luxury SUV uses RWD these days? Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota 4Runner, a used Chevrolet TrailBlazer or GMC Envoy. Not to mention the Nissan Xterra.
- I have a 94 ford explorer and the wheel drive won't work? Both the 4 high and 4 low doesn't work. I checked the hubs and they are fine. I here a click when i press the button and i can hear it click under the truck and the light turns on and everything as if its working but its not engaged. And when i'm driving i can hear it clicking. Any ideas?
