If someone drive a chevy suburban or ford explorer does it mean there rich?
Some of these suvs go over $40k that is insane.
I don't know but I just figured out I'm rich.
Retirement here I come. Wonder how long this $40k will last?
That's crazy!
Lol no definitely not. Rich people can drive anything, but those vehicles aren't a status of having money or anything. My grandpa has millions of dollars and he still drives a cavalier. Go figure.
It could mean they are deep in debt.
A lot of them go for much more than that, Skippy. Doesn't mean the people driving them are "rich"… Just that they can afford the payments and insurance. Or maybe someone else is paying the bills.
No actually those are the type of cars broke people drive.
'There' vs 'their' vs 'they're', which is correct for your question "does it mean there rich?". I'll give you a hint, "there" is not it.
If you consider a $40K vehicle to be a sign of wealth, yes, the owner is rich by your standards.
There's a big difference between being rich and just having a large car payment. People who truly understand the difference between the two are usually the ones who are actually "rich", regardless of what they're driving. The people in the worst financial situations are usually the ones driving expensive cars and living in expensive houses when they can't realistically afford either of them and probably don't even really need either of them for anything but show.
Often those who pay for impressive cars are trying to project an image of wealth and have difficulty doing it (poor).
$40K is actually just a little over the average price for new cars, and certainly not rich people's cars. These two vehicles are essentially common utility vehicles, not status symbols.
- Why is it that when someone owns a Chevy/Ford/Mopar they feel the need to rip on every other brand of vehicle? I mean it's as if they were getting paid to advertise their opinion. Just because you're a loyal Ford fan boy doesn't mean that Chevys are complete garbage. I drive a Ford but I don't go around trash talking everyone who likes Chevys.
- My 2001 Ford Ranger is running rich! CEL is on and it's throwing 2 codes: P1132 & P1152? Coil pack, spark plugs wires are less then 6 months old. New O2 sensors, TPS, MAF, IAC, new fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator! Idle rpm is about 1500 when engine is warm and surges when truck is in drive and drops extremely low in reverse. Black smoke has covered exhaust tips and the rich smell is very strong from exhaust while truck is running. Truck has 180,000 miles and is a V6.
- 1988 mustang gt running rich with idle issues? Hi, first of all just want to let you know its not a vaccuum leak. Freshly built 347. It idles eractic on cold start but then evens out and the cam lopes normally. Idle hangs for a minute if I hit the gas. Throttle cable is not hanging up either. After it reaches operating temperature the idle raises about 2 to 300 rpm? It also is running rich. I cleaned maf and the idle bypass. Thermostat is a 180 degree. I just don't know what else to look at.
- Gasoline vs rich mixture LPG performance? Some people say LPG coverted cars loss of some performance i have weber carbureted ford pinto engine, single point LPG system i can say there's almost no difference at all with advanced timing, high octane LPG and for about 1sec. 4th gear pulling loss its worth for my savings. so, richen up mixture with LPG can reach gasoline performance?
