There's a regular dip stick labeled transmission fluid just under the passenger window.

Heat the motor up to operating temperature and then with the motor running pull the tranny dipstick… Wipe it off and re-insert it. Then pull it out and see where the ATF level is at. Look on both sides of the dipstick. Transmission ATF level is difficult to read sometimes.
If the fluid isn't red or pink you need the ATF changed. Don't flush the fluid. Drop the pan and replace the filter and then put the correct ATF back in.

There's a transmission fluid dip stick similar to the oil dip stick. Unlike checking the oil you check the transmission fluid while the car is running, Pull the dip stick and check the fluid level.
