Help solve this mystery Blinker problem?
'91 Ford Explorer. Right blinker lights are out, also the rear brake-light as it is the same bulb. The blinker on the dash does not blink on the right side (it is solid green) but left side is fine. HERE is the deal: I tried changing the rear bulb but the bulb is fine. The right front blinker lights up fine but does not blink. What is the cause?
The front bulb is bad - there are two elements ( pieces of wire ) in the bulb, and usually one of them will break
Sounds like the turn signal flasher went out on the right side. I'm not sure where it in on that truck, but it is usually located under the dashboard near the fuses. At least that was exactly what happened with my old Buick.

However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.

- Car check help before going long journey (new car owner)? Hi. I had just bought a new Ford Fiesta. This is my very first car that I owned. Previously, I would be driving a car that would be checked by my brother every time we travel on a long distance journey. Now I would be maintaining the car myself. I would like to find out what do I need to check and how could I do those checks on my car before starting my journey. The only thing I'm aware of checking are tire pressure.
