Back door eletrical noise in 2001 ford explorer while car is off?
My car has a weird electrical noise on the door/hatch of the truck. What could possibly be operating while the car is off, please help!
Wiper motor, locking solenoid Maybe the "door close" contact doesn't work correctly. Are you in an area that suffers from the Jan 2017 freeze? Ice in the door contacts may be a reason.

- 2001 Ford Ranger clicks once then won't turn over, and when key is turned off, it begins making a clicking relay noise under the dash? - 1 I've had this happen before, and the last couple times I just undid the battery and put it back in and it started right up. The battery has a charge, the alternator is new, and I tried jumping the battery just in case. So I know it's not that. I'm thinking it could be something in the ignition switch because sometimes I have to lift up on the shifter knob for it to register that it's in park and turn over. Any ideas?

- I have a 2018 Ford Explorer, my interior dome light stays on when door is open. I want it to remain off at all times. How do I fix it? There's a button on the headlight nob switch that allows it on and off while in the car. I don't want light to be on when i park, open the door to gather things at night. I don't want people to have a chance of looking inside. How can i fix the problem?
- 2001 Ford Explorer keypad on door will not unlock/lock the front door. It will unlock/lock the other doors Would there be a loose wire? Could it be a fuse? If so anyone know which one? Or could it be something else? I'm trying to fix my aunts car so they don't have to take it somewhere.
