How to convince people that the Toyota Land Cruiser is not a reliable SUV as it easily breaks down?

Ford Expedition and Chevy Suburban are a way better choice

I wonder why you want to convince anyone. People can make up their own minds.

The Toyota Land Cruiser is second only to the Lexus RX in the 2016 JD Power reliability survey. So you have got it all wrong it seems.

That's an interesting claim. My '93 Land Cruiser is still going strong and has never broken down once or required any major repairs in 258,000 miles that I've owned it. My 2006 Chevy blazer transmission failed catastrophically at 84,000 miles and the intake manifold cracked at 104,000 miles. It was responsibly driven and well maintained. Piece of junk and it's long gone. The reliable old Land Cruiser just keeps going, and going, and going. It has also held its value well, whereas Fords and Chevy's do not. You'll never convince me.

They'll just assume you're making it up.

Which obviously you are.

Toyota's are damn good cars.

Go tell that to the Arabs of Saudi Arabia. The all own top spec Range Rovers for show but when they have to go into the desert it's the Land Cruiser they choose to use.

Compared to Ford and Chevy? It is old Toyota LC I see up at the fishing lakes and only the newest of the Ford or Chevy are there. The older ones bit the dust. They are even outdoing VW Beetle slug bugs on Longevity… And reliability. You can have your domestic cars, people who really go off road a lot are driving a Toy.
"FAKE NEWS"

Why does this even bother you? It is your opinion. They either believe you or they don't.
I don't.

Troll.

There's a saying in Australia that if you want to go to the outback, you can take any vehicle. But if you want to come back, you take a Land Cruiser. But obviously, you are just trolling.
