Is ford escort 1971 better than mini austin 1960 as a first car?
Ford Ecort is 2 door and is grey in colour
Mini Austin is Chestnut wood Colour
Both are 1300cc
Which one do you think looks better?
I've always been a fan of the Mini, but it's a 55-year-old car. Check for rust and hidden damage! If your mechanic says it's OK, then you can always find parts to turn it into a Mini-Cooper
The Escort will be the sensible choice. The original Mini although a brilliant concept was fraught with problems.
Subframe and cill rust, early failure of CV joints and rubber spiders, cracks in the cylinder head esp. On the 1275ccs. And so on.
Both are bad.
