How to fix a lifter noise?
I have 2003 ford escort zx2 and was wondering how to fix this nasty lifter tick that it has please help
Years ago people would pour some automatic tranny fluid in the oil because of its cleaning properties. But today I would not do that. The only "true fix" is to remove the lifter, take it all apart by removing the "C" clip and give it a good cleaning. Likely some dirt is in there keeping the lifter internals from moving properly.
- Where did my push rod lifter go? I have a 1973 Ford f100 with a 77' 351 modified engine, after taking off my valve covers I noticed one rocker arm was loose. We saw that the push rod wasn't touching and was about an inch and a half away and it doesn't have a lifter… And I'm a little concerned as to where it could have gone… Please help… How harmful is this to my engine.

- How easy is it to fix a spun bearing? Car on Craigslist has this description "I've got a 1990 ford thunderbird supercoupe 3.8 supercharged 5 speed rare car needs motor work spun bearing."
