Can you turn up brightness on clock in car?
I have an old 91 Ford Escort and it's hard to see the clock cause the display seems dim. Is there a way make it brighter?
Try putting in a light bulb that uses more power.
It depends on if it was or is a factory clock!
The headlight switch to turn the lights on and off also has a rheostat in it for instrumentation brightness. Try adjusting that. I'm not sure if there's only one bulb or two. These do age and loose brightness and if there was more then one, one might be burnt out. Getting into where they are at will be the problem.
Buy a car clock powered by the cigarette lighter. Mount it on the dashboard. Or buy a smartphone mount. Mount your smartphone set to the clock app.
Probably not. I had a car once that had a dimmer switch for the gauges.

- Ford Ka clock flashing wired? I have a Ford Ka 2005 and it will not start the clock flashes very quickly the after 1minuit it flashes very slowly the engine will not turn over. Any help will be much appreciated
- 2014 Ford Focus clock won't set? I just got an oil change, tire rotation, and a recall fixed on my car at the dealer. The clock is stuck at 10:08 and no matter how much I change it it will not set! I called them and told them what was happening and they told me to disconnect the negative battery cable then reconnect it. Is that really the solution? I'm not a car person but I can't even reach the cable with my wrench because of where it is. Anything else I can do?
