99 Ford Escort with car alarm problem?

I have a 99 ford escort that when I lock it with the remote, 5 to 10 minutes later the car alarm goes off. I use the remote to turn off the alarm and then everything is fine. This happens every time and I'm sure someone out there knows the answer.

There might be a problem with the level sensor. It's like a "tilt" device on a game machine. Have an alarm specialist fix it for you.
