98 ford escort fan draining battery?

Narrowed down to fan running with car off kicked code for o2 sensor sensor is good and fan module is replaces help

Have you checked the fan temp sensor? May be a single or 2wire lead located in the water jacket of the manifold ( intake) or the radiator. Being a 98 it is possible it could have 2 of them one for the temp gauge and computer and the other for the fans. The sensor could be stuck in the closed ( i.e. Making a complete circuit) position. Also check the relays for your fans, one of those could be stuck as well

It appears that the alternator was not the problem. I've got a brand new alternor and when i check the battery(running car), it just stays on 12.5V and doesn't go up. I tried using it yesterday and it just drained out on me. I tried 3 good batteries already and checked if they charge in my car but they don't. Oh, the alternator came with a volt regulator.
