Why is my 2001 ford escape xlt is shaking?

I have change the tires on it

YOU MAY HAVE bad TIE ROD ENDS! You can check this with a FRIEND! Put key yo "ON"not START! Have friend JIGGLE the steering wheel! You put your HAND on the front tires! If you sense a POPPING or uneven motion, you have BAD TIE RODS ends or other steering system wear! TIRES should jiggle EVENLY and SMOOTHLY! Just because you have NEW tires means NOTHING if they are not REAL BRAND NAME and SERIES TIRES< like MICHELIN GREEN X, or CONTINENTAL ECO tires, or even KUMHO tires that are FUEL EFFICIENT ONES! FORGET KARL S! He knows NOTHING at all but thinks he DOES!

When does it shake? Under acceleration? Under braking? Does it start out not all that bad, get worse over 30mph, and stay really bad til you get up to interstate speeds, and start to smooth out again?

It could be a bad CV joint.

If it only shakes when braking, you have a warped brake rotor.
