I don't like this car what can i trade it for?
My dad gave me his old 2005 ford escape. But i don't really like the way it drives. I want something more fun to drive. Is there anything i can trade it for that would be better?
Return it to your dad and walk.
I have a 2011 Mustang with a lot of high performance add-ons I'd trade you straight up. Mileage is right at 75,000. Great shape for the year, no issues.
I need to sell this or trade it because the gas mileage is awful.
Bring your Escape over to Springfield and have the title in hand.
Even up trade, no hassles!
Almost anything is better than a 2005 Escape, which means it's not worth much as a trade. Take a look at a new or almost new Honda Civic. You'll love it.

Hi so first you need to be earning money to afford it.
When it's free you get what you're given.
Fun for you will mean higher insurance costs for your dad. That turkey won't fly until you're driving on your own dollars.
Trading in would be foolish: unless you have thousands of dollars to add to the pot you'll drive away in an older junker worth far less than the car you traded and at that price you can be pretty sure the car will have loads of faults including some you won't see. That's compared to a car you now have which your dad will be well aware of any faults it currently has.
Fun for now is the freedom of having your own wheels on someone else's dollar. Fun is not relying on your parents for lifts everywhere. Fun is a car with a known past maintenance history which you and your dad can rely upon to get the job done reliably.
If that's not good enough then hand the car back and have fun running or cycling everywhere: I don't mean that sarcastically either as both activities can genuinely be fun and will save money on gym fees.
Its a 2000's Ford, the cost to keep it running won't be worth having to take it to the shop every other week, I'd sell it for what ever its worth on KBB and save up for a Honda/Nissan/Toyota.

Dad gave it? Not sell it to you and do the paperwork? Then it is HIS car. You can only trade down in age. Cars are not meant to be fun. Road rules say you can't fork around on the roads or the cops nail you
… That is their purpose: to protect the lives of others and yourself from you.
… To get the ****** drivers off the road.
Cars take you to work and home DRY. Or you can walk.
Every car is your expensive ***** and when she wants, you better give it to her NOW.
. Oh yeah, forget school after highschool… It is the Labor market for you.
Your Escape became your "Ball & Chain"
I Wish my daddy Gave me Anything at 24! I had to contract for the $ for a car at 4%. And, That was a POS Pinto.

- Why don't car companies remake some of their classic car models if people like them so much? Of course safety is in mind because everyone would freak out if they didn't have a seat belt and air bags in every inch of the car, but why can't some of the companies just remake their best selling car models? Dodge could remake their 1948 Sedan and Ford could remake their 1949 Custom. I could list more but I can't think of any more classics.
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
- Can i ask the ford dealer to trade my car in on full value? I bought a Ford Mustang GT in mid March brand new, but i bought it automatic. I now realize that this was a huge mistake, and i want to get the same car in manual. The MSRP on the manual is about 2000 less than the automatic. I have put about 3000 miles on the car. Do you think they will give me full value for the car?
- How early can i trade in my leased car for another lease? About a year ago i got into a ford focus 3 year lease. I'm unhappy with the car and the problems it has, etc. I'm really interested in getting a f150 or edge or even explorer, something bigger with more room. I still have two years left but i've heard that its easy to drop that lease if i lease something else. Anyone have any ideas or opinions?
