Could a Honda Element outrun a Ford police interceptor sedan on a 20 mph roll?
The Honda Element is a 2003 4wd with an automatic transmission. I know that off the line the cop car would probably outrun my Honda, but with the right tires, would I be able to escape from the police interceptor when merging onto a highway assuming a 20 mph roll?
Lmao… Those interceptors are pretty supped, and are fast! Plain and simple. People will have difficulty, even in sports cars, trying to evade., let alone a hamster truck on wheels.
Not a chance. The interceptor is 2 seconds faster 0-60 and does about 135mph.

Police interceptors are tweaked to get as much horsepower out of them as possible. They're mad for pursuits, hence the name "interceptor" - to catch something. Here in Atlanta, they have Dodge Chargers. Even the Crown Vics can sometimes get up around 120. You can't outrun a radio, dozens of units (marked and unmarked) or a helicopter.

When I drive it, the car makes a whorling/swirling kind of noise, it isn't loud like a wheel baring but you sure can notice the sound.
