Ac compressor won't stay on while driving?
2006 Ford Escape. I recently had a compressor leak & they put in a 'new' compressor. When the car is in park or on a red light; the compressor stays on for a while and cycles normally and the air is cold. However, once I start driving as soon as the compressor kicks in, it turns off. So, in other works the compressor doesn't engage and hot air comes out while moving. So much turning on and off that it sometimes make my car hesitate or nudge down the road. I plan on taking it back to get the ac system checked but I know this is gonna be difficult for them to figure out. Any ideas?
They didn't fix it. They will if you take it back
Many vehicles have a load sensor that will turn the AC compressor off when you accelerate fast. If it works normal while cruising there may not be a problem. Take it back the shop that worked on it and tell them what's happening.

I just put a new fuel pump on my 1976 ford gran torino and it won't idle at all unless I fill the fuel bowl up and when I do that it will idle for a little bit and then when I start it up again it will idle for a little bit less then a little bit less and so on until it won't idle at all?

- Car died while driving and now won't start? 2007 ford taurus… While driving oil light came on after a few miles the car died wile I was turning and now won't restart.battery is good car just clicks and motor won't turn over… Does this sound like a locked up motor?
- 97 ford mustang battery won't stay charged? So i've checked the battery it self and the alternator and both are good. Both battery and alternator are both new. I can charge it up and it will be dead with in a day or two.
