2011 Ford Escape Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1
My ford escape is throwing O2 Sensor codes P0059, P0050, and P0155. They all relate to the Bank 2 Sensor 1 O2 sensor (Front, near grill, before the CAT). I changed the sensor however that did nothing. I think it is the wiring.
Does anyone know the wiring diagram or color code for the 5 wire O2 sensor? I bought the escape and the pigtail connector was already spliced in and it was all the same color wires for that O2 sensor. I'm sure that I do not have a faulty O2 sensor, I just think the wires are all mismatched to the pigtail.
pigtail= wiring harness side of car, not O2 sensor wires
No, the 02 sensor is not the problem. It's doing it's job at telling you there's a mixture issue upstream of the sensor. It could be a number of things, but it's not the 02 sensor.
I own an 11 Escape V6 too. I have a P013C code. Could this be due to a faulty O2 sensor? I have the part number for the downstream sensor, but am not sure if this engine has 2 of these.
- Bank 1 and Bank 2 too lean? I have a 2004 ford taurus. About a month ago the CEL came on, ran to advanced auto to get a code and they said my bank 2 was too lean. Yesterday, got a code run again and they said bank 1 and 2 too lean. They said it was probably my oxygen sensors. The car has developed a rough idle when first starting up and has lost some power and acceleration. I plan to take it to a mechanic soon, but until then i'm trying to find out what the problem is. Any suggestions?
- I need to know where oxygen sensor bank2 sensor2 is on 2001 ford windstar 3.8L engine? I know that bank2 sensor2 is on one of the catalyst converter there's 4 sensors total and the catalyst converters r not side by side one of them is coming from the front of motor/van and the other is coming from back of motor and i don't know which is bank2.
- Where is the bank 1 02 sensor located at? I have a 06 ford focus zx4 2.0L and I got a code the other day and it's for an oxygen sensor bank 1 where is that located at?
- Is Ford Escape the best car for a bank robbery? We're planning a bank robbery in London and we need a four-seater car that is fast enough to "escape" pursuing cops… is Ford Escape the best car for escaping cops on chase?
