Which car would be better for me?
So, this is going to be my first brand new car… And I'm not very experienced, so just wanna get some idea which one is a better car for me… So I'm currently an university student. Most of my driving would be on highway. I do think I'm gonna be going over 15k per year. The cars I'm looking at are
Ford Edge SEL 2.0L Ecoboost AWD
Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.4L AWD
And
Dodge journey SXT 2.4L FWD
You can't get the 2.0L Ecoboost in a an AWD Edge. It's only offered on the Front wheel drive models only. If you want AWD, you'll be getting the V6. The Cherokee is overpriced for what it is, and both the Journey and Cherokee are underpowered with their base four cylinders
I would definitely not recommend getting a Dodge Journey. It's really not a good car at all. The Jeep Cherokee is a good choice, but it's kind of ugly, and expensive. And the Ford Edge is the one I'd probably choose, it might be a little sluggish with the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost. But, it's still a great engine. Also, the Edge comes with a whole host of features, you can even ask it where the cheapest gas is though the MyFordTouch system. I'd also highly recommend a Subaru Outback! They're unbelievably good! You must look at one! We've got one, and it's amazing. It gets about 27-28 MPG on the highway and around town, it has plenty of features, bullet-proof reliability, it has tons and tons of space, is extremely comfortable, it's fun, and it travels great on the highway. Believe me we drive it three times a year to and from Northern Minnesota. It also has the #1 AWD system in the car industry! I highly recommend it!
Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.4L AWD
Personally i'd go with jeep or dodge, but seeing as the jeep is awd i'd probably pick that as the safest. I've have 2 experiences with ford. While they weren't HORRIBLE they were pretty bad. At the last the transmission started jumping so I got rid of it. My aunt has had a jeep, she loved it, it was just getting older so it eventually gave out. Currently has a dodge, and I also drive a dodge charger. Love the vehicles, they seem stiffer and easier ride. If you COULD get a dodge 4wd i'd go for that. But the jeep is also a nice vehicle. Just my opinion of course. Don't forget! Test drive these vehicles before purchasing! Also look at the warranties they offer, are they good? You need to get a feel for the vehicle so you'll know what you're expectations are… Good luck with your purchase!
Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.4L AWD
I think Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.4L AWD is best for you and you should also try SUV cars because this type of car is another good option for you which is so comforting in all types of driving.
Any of them is quite good for first 5 years. After that God help you.
If you going to get a suv get one that's 4wd for the winter. Like a Nissan xterra
The Edge. It is only available with a 3.5L V6 if you want AWD. There's also a 3.7L V6.
- Which would be a better option? I would really like either a '67 Impala or a '64 Ford truck. Do you think it would be better to purchase a fixer-upper and fix it? Or purchase one in great condition? ONE MORE QUESTION: Which one do you like better- a '67 hard top two-door Impala, or a '64 Ford truck?
- Which is better? 1995 ford ranger which is stick or a 2004 Ford Escape? I'm a 16 year old boy and I'm lucky enough to have those two cars to choose from. Both have high mileage, like 350k on the ranger and 250k for the escape. Both have been serviced to a T. I really don't know which car would be best in the Long run. Meaning I don't know which one is most reliable and which one would be best for me and my use of maybe hauling my friends around. So which one do you think is the best choice?
- Which would be a better choice for a sports car: a Mustang GT or a Corvette c6? The mustang gt is 2005-2008ish, and the corvette c6 is 2005-2007ish. I'm leaning to the corvette since they're worth more money and I always have been a fan of corvettes, but then the mustang can fit 4 people while the vette only seats two. Which would be the better choice?
- Which is a better used car to get? Should I get a Honda Accord or a Ford Mustang for a used car? I only drive around 10 miles a day, at the most. Which one is better overall? Easier/cheaper to maintain? I know the Accord would be better with insurance. I'm trying to get a V6 Accord, or either engine size Mustang. For the year, at least 1996, so it has O.B.D. 2. I want something around the mid 90s-mid 2000s. Oh, and I'm 25, if that would have an effect on the insurance.
