Need to Diagnose my 2008 Ford F350, possibly limp mode? Struggling for power and won't go over 10mph. Any insight is helpful?

I first started to notice a loss of power in the morning. It would sputter and struggle for power at low RPMs, then 5-10 minutes later its back to normal. Couple of days later I leave from work at the end of the day and the truck won't go over 10mph, the turbo doesn't kick on, idle is perfect, no indicators on the dash. After a while of sitting and trying to diagnose the problem the truck is drivable again… I have not plugged in yet to see if its throwing soft codes… Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

It may be a faulty MAP sensor (Map = Manifold Absolute Pressure) or a cracked or broken sensor hose. That's a common and simple fix. A new sensor and hose won't cost much over $50 and won't take you 5 minutes to change yourself. At 10 years old it wouldn't hurt to replace it anyway. However CHECK CODES FIRST before spending any money. If you're getting a turbo overboost code It could also be that the VGT vanes in the turbo are coked up and sticking and it needs a good cleaning, or perhaps the VGT solenoid is faulty, but when those fail its usually not intermittent.
