There should be a diagram on the radiator support under the hood showing how the engine belt is routed. At the bottom of that tag is the engine size.

Base engine for 1996 through end of production was the V8-5.4 Cleveland, with the V10-6.8 Lima optional; these were members of the Triton OHC engine family, with some models propane-fueled.
