Screw driver?
It would help if you gave more information such as year carburated or fuel injected. If it's carbed you can turn it down by turning the idle screw on some years you will need to remove the limiting caps from the carb. If it's fuel injected basically you can't adjust it because the caps over the adjusters are sealed. You will have to take it to a dealer or a tuning shop
Hi you can't and the reason it is there's because the engine is so worn it would stall if it was slower.
- My Ford Transit headlights turn on in off position and turn off in the on position? I'm a new driver, just passed my test. My van has some issue with the lights: namely, the lights turn off in the on position when the dash lights come on, and turn on when they are supposed to be off. This means that I'm driving at night without dash lights as I need to have the lights switched off in order for my headlights to be on. Might this be an electrical issue? Would anybody be able to give me advice and possibly know how much this costs to repair?

- I bought an Actron CP9125 Code Reader to try and diagnose a rough idle at cold start on a 98 Ford 4.0 engine. The rough idle had not caused? The CEL to come on. I plugged the code reader in with just the key on and pressed read and the little asterisk goes half-way across the screen one time and stops. I press the read button again and it reads 0 codes. I was thinking it would scan multiple times to check for pending codes or other issues. I tried it with the engine running and the same thing happens. Is this code reader operating properly?
- How to make my '67 ford 352 v8 rumble more and idle more rough? So I have flowmaster super 10's on it, I've lowered the idle to about 650-700 rpm. It just doesn't sound like I want it to. I want it I sound more drag car like. More like a race engine. Is there anything I can do?
