1990 Ford f-350 Right turu Signal problem?
As I stated I have a right turn signal problem.
So I understand that there's a blue/white wire attached to the bulb holder that carries the currant, I have traced this wire back to the turn signal leaver inside the steering wheel, there's no power on it at any point.
Where does it connect to get its currant.
I have checked the fuse in the fuse panel it is good and i also turned the switch to the on position, where i have been told that the fuse holder is supposed to have current on both post. Mine does not.
Gets power from fuse block, so if left turn works, it should be hot. Good question from Human about hazards. If you've traced wire to column switch, try jumping a hot wire to it. If r/t lights, problem between fuse block and switch. If not, problem is downstream.
No the 4 ways do not work
From the flasher. That is what supplies the current
Does the light work with the 4 ways (hazards) on?
Edit for further information:
If the 4 ways do not work try swapping lights from the other side this will test to see if the light has shorted or if the socket is bad. Some lights have dual elements and the can break and short out. If you haven't checked use a tester to see if you have power to the socket?
Also does the right turn signal work in the back or the front you didn't say if it was in the front or back?
Also you could have a short in the pig tail? On older trucks people can be creative when they want a trailer hooked up?
