Did Ford and her lawyers carefully craft her story so that none of the details could be verified?

Bonus question: Are liberals being stupid or dishonest when they claim she is telling the truth?

She was a lot more convincing than Kavanaugh was, and I was willing to hear out both of them.

Of course they cooked up the story and did it in a way to protect Ford from perjury.

Liberals are just being dishonest about it.

They wanted something that would leave a lingering doubt about Judge Kavanaugh in hopes that would be enough to keep him off the USSC. They have no intention of letting President Trump fill the vacancy.

Not in my opinion, I believe her.

Nope. And by the way, congratulations! You totally missed what was important about the Kavanaugh hearings. Although I found Ford credible, I agree, we will probably never know what happened between them 36 years ago.

But what's important now today is all the lies Kavanaugh told the nation a few days ago while under oath. Lies in a job interview won't get you the job. For example, his comments on "Renate" were an obvious lie. Even worse, he lied about the legal drinking age in Maryland during his senior year: (wow, Fox News is publishing the Maryland drinking age facts!) He also lied about Deborah Ramirez, saying he first heard about her accusations when they were published Sept 23. In fact, in the days before publication he was calling classmates asking them to step forward and speak against Ramirez. Obviously he knew about her accusations prior to Sept 23; in fact, what he did smells an awful lot like witness tampering.

If anybody else lied during a job interview, they would not get the job! The same rule should apply to Kavanaugh.

Which is why we're having the FBI investigate.

Anyone who thinks that Ford is telling the truth should read the report of the prosecutor the Senate Republicans hired to question her.

Actually no, we have some corroboration of, from the words of the accused men themselves. First we have Brett Kavanaugh's calendar. This contains a reference to a party he attended IIRC in June or July. Three of the men who Kavanaugh says were at this party are also identified by Ford as being present at the party she was assaulted at. We've also got evidence from Mark Judge, who Ford says was present in the room when she was assaulted. Ford says that she ran into Judge when he was working at a Safeway supermarket about six to eight weeks after the attack. In Judge's memoir "Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk" he has a reference to working at a local supermarket to help raise money for football camp. If we return to Kavanaugh's calendar he has football camp happening at the end of August, which would put it about six to eight weeks after the attack. It's rather remarkable actually how it all fits together.
