Chevy, Ford, or Dodge truck?

Say you are a worker who frequently has to haul a trailer full of supplies, so you need the strongest, most powerful truck. Which do you look to buy, a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge truck?

If I needed the heaviest duty for hauling, I would choose the 3/4 ton Dodge with the Cummins diesel engine.

You just opened "a can of worms" here. We all have our favorites, but IMHO, stay away from diesels anyway because of operating costs. Cost of fuel, 12 Qt oil changes etc.

This is a fight waiting to happen. All the manufactures produce trucks that are more or less capable in their own class. A simple 1500 or f-150 can pull a medium weight trailer up to about 6-8k pounds no problem. And save on fuel. These wars between trucks is more of a personal thing they fight about 1 or 2 mpg or ride comfort. Most of the large 3500 or f-350 trucks can pull more than most drivers are rated to legally carry on a basic license.

How heavy is the trailer?
We need to know what kind of supplies are in there, because, for example, maybe you can get a F150 rather than a Super Duty series and have lower operating costs.

Brands of vehicles are just that, the brand name. Each manufacturer builds several types of work vehicles under the category of truck. There are pickup trucks with the open bed in the bad. Some SUV type vehicles fall under the category of trucks. There are utility vehicles with an enclosed back area such as the Ford Transit Van what is also considered a truck. There are larger and heavier sized of these vehicles for many purposes. A "trailer full of supplies" is very general and undefined. Trailers come in many sizes and categories. The "strongest, most powerful truck" is also undefined and general. Only by knowing specifics can the correct choice be made. Please contact a dealership and present your case for proper advise.

The strongest, most powerful truck is dodge 3500 with the cummins. The most expensive is the chevy 3500 with the duramax. Middle of the road is the ford f350 powerstroke. I have owned and used all three the dodge was the better truck for working and the chevy was the quietest inside. The dodge would get 26 mpg from a 2006 model. The chevy about 20 mpg 2008 model and the ford a lil better than 20 from a 2004 6.0 powerstroke. When i had to choose wich one to keep it was the dodge
