Lol, i just wanted to see your guy's choice, I currently own 4 2500 silverados,3 diesel,1 gas, and 1 diesel 3500, the 3 fords have died, all my trucks have 300k and over miles on it, one has 230k, thats my daily
1992 D250 and 1993 D350, Cummins 5.9 L engine. All going just fine. Jim Jessup put in newly rebuilt injection pumps a year or two ago.
The Ford 6.0 was not very powerful or reliable. The 6.4 was apparently a little better and I have not heard much about the 6.7 since its newer.
People say that the Duramax has a little higher maintenance costs but its offset by the more reliable Allison transmission.
- Which of the three truck company's last the longest? Ford, Chevy, or GMC? I'm 18 and my dad is getting me my first vehicle and wants me to drive a truck. Here in Texas drivers are a little crazy, lol. He's looking into trucks that are between the 10k-20k range. Which of the three last longest?
