Ford Bronco or Lincoln Navigator?

I'm a 16 year old male and I love SUVs. I'm used to driving larger SUVs and pickup trucks. I want an SUV of my own. I can think of 2 SUVs I want. I either want a 1995 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 4X4 or a 2000 Lincoln Navigator 4WD. I know they are both good vehicles and will be reliable as long as they're properly maintained. I won't be doing any offroading with it as that may break parts. It will be driven in the winter. Where I live, winter can be pretty harsh. They both cost about the same to repair as they are both based on F150s. The gas mileage will be about the same (Where am I going where I need high mpg anyway?). Which one will be a better vehicle? Which one is safer? The only time I could see it getting wrecked is if someone hits it. Which one should I get?

Added (1). I can always use F-Series pickup truck mechanical parts on the Bronco. Right?

Well you said north and i'm telling you right now, the broncos rear fenders will be a tetanus magnet. They have got to be seriously opened, sealed, seamed back up and allow for drainage. Look at ford trucks from 79-97, they are all rusted out in the rear.
no different than chevy or dodge, they have their weak spots. Chevy and dodge lose the door bottoms, especially inside and rockers. Some also suffer from the cab mounts rotting away. Thinking dodge got it right about the same time as chevy.
chevy doors still remained vulnerable but rockers and cab mounts fair better. Dodge fixed their door issue for the 02 1500
chevys rockers got better as well as the cab corners. I mean single or extended cabs.
navigator sucks to work on compared to a bronco, but its also much much nicer, and the old 302-351 combos are getting harder to find parts. Very nice engine if you get the 351 cause its roller cam. Still its 19 yrs old and on its best day the bronco got 18 mpg downhill being towed.
the bronco has a ton of issues including steering column and window tracks, bad switches… But simple to fix. Don't expect to find many in a salvage yard

The Navigator will cost a LOT more to insure, especially at your age.

Lincoln Navigator

  • Will Ford Crown Victoria rims fit a 2012 Lincoln MKZ? A rock rolled off a cliff and destroyed a rim on my friend s 2012 Lincoln MKZ and according to what i can find on the net, the Ford Crown Victoria anywhere from a 91 up has the same lug pattern as the 2012 Lincoln MKZ, is that correct? Or am i wishful thinking? Really need to find a rim for this car because his wife has some doctors appointments she needs to get to and they only have the 1 car and they can't find a Lincoln rim anywhere around here Needing to find a used one
  • Ford expedition compatible with Lincoln navigator? I have a ford expedition and it has that stupid twist handle. I want to put a Lincoln navigator rear hatch on it instead. I know its possible cause i've seen it on YouTube but no explanation on the process. I want to know the process and what years are compatible and any other info id need to know.
  • 2007 Ford Expedition vs 2007 Chevy Tahoe vs 2004 Lincoln Navigator? I wanted to get one of these due for the 4 wheel drive in the winter. I live in Boston, so it gets rough. I wanted to get one of these three. And I don't know which one is better. I test drove a 2007 Tahoe, and loved it. Although I never drove an Expedition nor Navigator. (although I drive a Lincoln Continental, so I might understand lincolns performance in a navigator). If anyone has one of these, which one would be better?
  • 2002 lincoln town car has ford rims? I recently bought a 2002 lincoln town car and it has ford center caps. So, i'm assuming the rims are ford? Will lincoln center caps fit the ford rims?
